4-day trek from Ouirgane valley Atlas Mountains: This is a fantastic 4-day adventure of discovery. You will be immersed in the landscape, surrounded by the impressive peaks of the High Atlas. At your feet the fertile river valleys where remote villages of adobe and stone houses are home to the indigenous Berber people.
4-day trek from Ouirgane valley Atlas Mountains: This wonderful trek as it takes in four valleys and two national parks, each one showing a different face of this region. As with quite a number of our treks, the route can be done in reverse with the last night in Ouirgane; or you can be collected from there and driven back to Marrakech.

Tour Plan
Marrakech –Imi Oughlad –Tizi n'tachte –Tiziane
Early morning pick up at your hotel in Marrakech or airport pick-up. Leaving behind the urban area you will pass through small towns like Asni and arrive at Imi Oughlad a traditional village, also one of the departure places to Toubkal National Park. After introduction to the accompanying local support team we start our trek in north-west direction, passing cornfields and pine and juniper woods. We climb to the Tiz n'tachete (2000m), where we stop to take in the beautiful views of of the village of Imlil and Oussaden valleys. We then continue on for another half hour to Imi n'ifri where we take our picnic lunch. After enjoying the well-deserved refreshments we walk for about 2,5 hours down on a rural path to Assif n' ait oussaden and to the red colour terraced village of Tiziane ( 1750 m ). Here we stop and spend the night in a local refuge or alternatively in a tent camp if this is agreed before. This track is a great alternative to the mountaineering oriented Toubkal tracks as it focuses more on the village life and rural area. Most of the time we will hike in altitude of approx. 2000 m. However avoiding Jebel Toubkal does not mean avoiding beautiful panorama and views. On the contrary, we will climb up to several passes, walk the valleys, have a rest at river banks and admire waterfalls…

Tiziane – Tizi n'taghrhourte – D'knt Â
After breakfast we set off on our hike up and along the Assif n'ait oussaden valley, passing through the walnut oases, up to Tizi n'taghrhourte (1995m) and on the comfortable track we arrive at Assaka spring. Here in the middle of beautiful countryside we enjoy our picnic lunch and listen to the beautiful silence disturbed only by the natural wildlife. The afternoon's hike takes us down through forests until we reach the Berber village of D'knt (1870m) or agouns n Assoul where we will have our dinner and spent the night in a refuge or alternatively camping in a tent if agreed before.

D'knt – Tizi n'tagdalte – Tizi oussemÂ
After breakfast we begin our 3 hour hike through walnut tree groves and corn and barley fields. Today we will have athe opportunity to practice our basic Berber skills and chat with the many sheep and goat herders and women and children that we meet. We traverse the Tizi n'tagdalte to the descent amongst the juniper trees. We come to a small spring hidden amongst the trees where we will stop for our picnic. After a refreshing stop we continue our walk and after 3 hours we arrive at a small river at the beginning of the valley Assif n'ait oussaden. From here we enter the village Tizi oussem (1850m) and then up to the summer village Of Tamsoult. Overnight stay and dinner. Alternatively we spent the night camping in a tent if agreed before.

Tizi oussem - Tizi M'zzik -ImlilÂ
We start our last day with a hike to a beautiful waterfall at Azib Tamsoulte and return to cross the Tizi 'n Mzik pass (2,500m). There we are already in the main Toubkal valley, We continue our walk through the valley to the busy and colourful village of Imlil (1,900m) one of the central places for departures to Jebel Toubkal. We have lunch and stay overnight in Imlil.
